Tammy Whichard is an Averitt regional truckload driver based in North Carolina and is also a member of our Driver Advisory Council. When asked "Why did you choose Averitt?," Tammy had several reasons that brought her to the Averitt team!

Knoxville shop leader Johnathan Cole has been with Averitt for 17 years, and he’s experienced career growth during that time to be in his current role.

Darrell White started as a driver with Averitt in 1995. Through his hard work and dedication he was promoted to a driver trainer, then driver leader, and is now the operations manager of the largest service center at Averitt Express.

Alan Stanley started with the Averitt team as a mechanic 30 years ago and is now a leader with our Dedicated/Supply Chain operation in Smyrna, TN.

If you're looking for a great example of Averitt's culture of promoting from within, it’s  Vincent Washington . Vincent started his Averitt career as a part-time dock associate, and has also served as a full-time dock associate, frontline leader and sales associate. Fort Myers service center director Isaiah Woodard is a perfect example of our team’s commitment to promoting from within. He began his Averitt career in 2014 as a Truckload driver, and after eight months was promoted to a frontline leader position. After three years there, Isaiah moved into his current role.
