Averitt associates have a big heart, and when some of our teammates heard about an opportunity to provide Play-Doh to the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, they knew they had to give their best effort to collect in a big way. Our associates took on the challenge, even gathering help from our customers. 

Our drivers, dock workers, mechanics, and administration may all have different roles and different backgrounds, but there’s one thing that they all have in common, character. At Averitt, we pride ourselves on knowing that we have a shared passion of helping others and moving forward.

Our uniforms are more than just a bunch of stitched fabric. They're more than just a red polo. They’re a symbol of a group of individuals who share the same values and attitude.

Uriel Garcia started at Averitt in 2021 as a CDL-Qualified dock associate. Having his CDL-A, he was ready to start driving but had a few restrictions on his license. Luckily, Averitt’s Dock-To-Driver program was here to help Uriel pursue his passion for driving.

Willie Lewis joined Averitt in 2021 as a dock associate. As soon as he heard about our Dock-To-Driver program, he knew he had to do it. While working on the dock, his driver trainer helped him earn his CDL-A, and he has taken some of the skills from his dock work with him on the road.

In 2005, Domitilo Ramos joined Averitt’s Dallas Service Center as a dock associate. Now, he is one of our many associates that has joined our Dock-To-Driver Program and earned his CDL-A.

Over a thousand of our current associates - including drivers, members of our executive team, logistics and operations leaders, and administrative professionals - have served or are currently serving in the military. Hiring military personnel is more than a trend for us. It’s a natural fit.
